Our vis-a-vis carriage is as beautiful as it is comfortable making it the perfect way to explore our beautiful sites and locations. Create a special evening at the Trapp Family Lodge and let the mountains hold you as the horses carry you softly away.

About the Carriage & Wagon
Vis-á-vis Carriage: 4 people maximum • One Hour $173 • Half Hour $87
Wagon: 10 people maximum • One Hour $345 • Half Hour $173
Carriage and Wagon Rides by reservation only. Reservations can be made by phoning 802-253-8511. Payments are made at the Main Lodge. Cancellations must be made more than 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fee. Rides begin and end just past Main Lodge & Outdoor Center on the left. In the event of inclement weather, rides may be canceled.

Group Wagon Rides
Come and enjoy a leisurely horse drawn wagon ride. Bring the whole family. The wagon ride is relaxing, rejuvenate, and suitable for all ages - from toddlers to grandparents. Our converted hay wagon has cozy seats and easy entry/exit. Giant Belgians will carry you over the open upper fields on the hillside below the lodge, affording nice woodsy surroundings and panoramic views of the valley below.
