Activities to Delight Every AgeThe Trapp Family Lodge Mountain Kids Club and Activity Center is designed to offer kids of all ages an opportunity for fun and adventure in Vermont!

Enjoy campfires with s'mores and singalongs, nature scavenger hunts, guided hikes, fishing trips, tye-dye T-shirt making, bingo, tubing down rivers, kids camp, trips to the reservoir, pizza pool parties, our family Amazing Race, jewelry making, and so much more! No matter which season you and your family choose to visit Trapp Family Lodge you will find an exciting choice of activities to make your family vacation unique. Each season has its own twist to reveal the beauty of Vermont and Trapp Family Lodge to you and your family.

Mountain Kids Club

September 3rd 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

This 2 hour session is jam packed with any or all of the following activities: hiking, frogging, tennis, arts & crafts, outdoor games, indoor games, garden fun, scavenger hunts and more! $20 per session. Snacks are provided. Sign up at the Fitness Center (x5722).

Mountain Kids Club: Make Your Own Peace Flags

September 4th 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

This fun and creative craft activity is based on the tradition of Tibetan Prayer Flags. We start with a set of blank flags, kids use fabric markers and paint to create their own "Peace Flags". Draw what makes you happy, what is important or people and things that you care about. Hang them up inside our outside sending well wishes to be carried by the wind. Advance sign up is recommended (x5722). Cost: $20 per child. All children must be potty trained and a minimum of 3 years old.

Mountain Kids Club: Sunday Rocks!

September 5th 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Its a rockin' morning with climbing on our rock wall for the first hour then head back upstairs to the Kid's Club for a snack and some pet rock painting until lunchtime. Advance sign up is recommended (x5722). Cost: $20 per child. All children must be potty trained and at least 3 years old.

Mountain Kids Club: Pillowcase, Popcorn & Movie

September 5th 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Spend a relaxing afternoon taking in a movie, eating popcorn and coloring in your own Trapp Family Lodge pillow case. Take the pillowcase home as a fun souvenir! Please sign up at the Fitness Center (x5722). Cost: $20 per child.

Little Tennis with pro Ernie Cohen

September 6th 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM

For kids 4-8 years old, A uniquely fun curriculum designed for teaching tennis to children using special games, balls, and equipment to make learning easier & more enjoyable! Emphasis on developing gross & fine motor skills needed for all types of sports. Introduces basic striking skills & tennis strokes. $19 per session or $45 for 3 sessions. MKC: Wee Sing

September 7th 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM

Enjoy singing Kid’s songs, finger plays and dancing to music make this a wonderful activity for your little one. This activity is recommended for children 3-5 years of age. Children under 3 are welcome with parent’s supervision. Advance sign up is necessary (x5722). Cost: $10 per child. Meeting Location: Fitness Center. Mini Mountaineers will be participating in the Wee Sing!

Sing-A-Long

September 7th 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Join Judi and experience the magic of the harp as we sing our favorite songs and "Sound of Music" selections, A little bit of something for young and old alike.

Meet the Cows!

September 8th 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join Chris Poacher on a property walk to meet our Scottish Highlander cows. With many pastures to graze, our cows are very happy (except when it’s hot and humid)! Chris knows where the cows are grazing from week to week and can take you to visit them. Chris is raising some Highlanders himself so don’t be shy in asking questions, you can learn a lot on this walk! Sign up at the Fitness Center (ext. 5722). Meet at the Outdoor Center. Complimentary.
