Spring Activities
Spring Skiing Warm sunny days on our well groomed trails are the hallmarks of spring skiing at our Touring Center. Please go to (link to ski report) for the daily update of ski conditions on our trails.
Maple Sugaring Season Visit our sugarhouse and enjoy a demonstration of this Vermont tradition. Jonathan Pryor, Trapp Family Lodge's master sugarmaker, provides tours of our sugarhouse and hosts Saturday afternoon Sugar-on Snow parties from 1pm until 4pm during the season. Ski, snowshoe, or sleighride to the Sugarhouse and join the fun!
Walking & Hiking Enjoy our 55km of hiking trails that offer quiet relaxation and healthy exercise for all ages. Hike to the chapel in the woods built by Rupert von Trapp on his return from World War II. Challenge yourself with a more vigorous hike to the Slayton Pasture Cabin, a favorite destination of skiers and snowshoers for lunch and rest during the winter months. Participate in guided hiking tours from our knowledgeable staff.
