Every lesson meets the needs of the individual from beginner fundamental stroke refinement to advanced footwork and tactics.

Mason Graddock, the Head Tennis Pro, is excited to be returning to Trapp Family Lodge for his second year. Mason grew up in Stowe playing tournament tennis in the summer and leading his high school tennis team to several state championship. Mason has been teaching tennis in various locations around Vermont for the last ten years. Mason is a class of ‘09 Graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, he played both ice hockey and tennis while enrolled at Middlebury and is now the assistant men’s hockey coach and the assistant women’s tennis coach at Middlebury College.

Quick Start Tennis is a new approach to introducing young players to tennis using low compression balls that are easier to hit, allow more time to reach the ball and help to develop optimal swing patterns. Smaller racquets also help make learning more enjoyable. (Time schedules may vary depending upon the makeup of the group.)
