The Fitness Center is a state-of-the-art facility, with a 60-by-25 foot indoor swimming pool, two spacious massage rooms, sauna, exercise rooms for yoga and other classes, outdoor hot tub, climbing wall and home to our popular Mountain Kids Club.

(The wing of the building that houses the hot tub, sauna and exercise room is only open to adults and children that are 16 and older from 6pm to 9pm)
The 60-by-25 foot indoor swimming pool with its connected wading area is unquestionably the center of the Fitness Center. Another popular water feature is the 20-person outdoor hot tub surrounded by heated slate. Other amenities include a sauna, separate men’s and women's locker rooms and a family changing room. During the spring and summer months we offer guests the use of our two, heated outdoor pools. The family pool is located below the Fitness Center and the smaller, adults only pool is located up behind the Millennium wing of the Lodge.

GOOD MORNING YOGA
Hatha Yoga is the most popular branch of Yoga. Hatha Yoga came from the words “ha” which means “sun” and “tha” which means “moon”. Hatha Yoga “asanas” (postures) are designed to improve health and bring energy to the body and mind.

Our yoga program at the Trapp Family Lodge aims to provide you with custom, quality yoga instruction. Through careful attention to your body we teach principles and techniques that cultivate body awareness, demonstrate proper alignment, promote muscular strength and flexibility, use breath for concentration and relaxation, and improve the quality of your energy.

Good Morning Yoga
In this class we explore the fundamentals of yoga and can accommodate practitioners of all levels. We are able to tailor the class to individual student needs, while keeping the flow for the group as a whole. Whether you are new to yoga or you are a weathered practitioner we welcome you to the practice. Please let the instructor know if you have had a recent injury of if your body is particularly soar. If you are unable to sit on the ground or stand up from the ground comfortably, please come to our slow and gentle class.
1 Hour Group Class - $15.00
Single Private Yoga Session
Our Private yoga lessons aim to answer any questions you may have about yoga, and gives you deeper understanding of the fundamentals of yoga asana (movement synchronized with breath). In this one hour session we can create a sequence that suits your body, schedule and life style.
1 Hour Private Session- $90.00 for one person, $100 for two or more people
Double Private Yoga Session
We highly recommend booking two consecutive yoga sessions. The additional class allows for documentation and practice of the routine that was tailored for you. If you have a digital camera we will take pictures of each pose and write down the breath count and description of each pose.
Two 1 Hour Private Sessions - $170 for one person
Triple Private Yoga Session
The third session allows for practice of you routine and clarification of any lingering questions. By the third session you should be ready to take your customized sequence home with you.
Three 1 Hour Private Sessions - $250 for one person

Yoga Punch Card
A yoga punch card can be purchased at the Fitness Center for a savings on each class. The card never expires and cost $60 for 5 classes.
Faith is a Kripalu certified yoga teacher and a YogaKids International certified instructor and teacher trainer. She has many years of experience in teaching yoga to children and adults. She considers it a privilege to assist students in nourishing health & healing of mind and body. In addition to the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga, she wishes to bring the joy and fun of yoga to all participants. Faith loves guiding students into deep connection with themselves, nature and community. Faith lives on a farm, has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
Kate first discovered yoga in her mid 20's. As a massage therapist, she has found yoga to be a wonderful asset to her health, both physically and mentally. Through the sincere, heartfelt dedication of yoga practice she has found ways to cope with the stresses of everyday life. It is her pleasure to pass these teachings along to others. Kate has studied/trained under many teachers at Yoga Vermont, primarily, Kathy McNames. Further study has been with Seane Corn, Beryl Bender-Birch, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste and David Swenson. Kate works as a massage therapist at the Trapp Family Lodge, is a wife and a mother to 3 beautiful children.

Our Fitness Center includes one of a very few indoor climbing walls in New England. 35 feet high and accessible only under supervision of our staff, the wall will occupy kids and adults alike with a body and confidence building workout.
Every lesson is designed to meet the needs of the individual - from beginner (fundamental) stroke refinement to advanced footwork and tactics. All on four red clay tennis courts with the most spectacular mountain views in New England.
Mountain Kids Club
Children will enjoy the Mountain Kids Club's home and hub of kids’ activities. The space includes a large arts and crafts room dedicated to creative projects and imaginative activities.
