Learn to Ski with Lessons at Trapp Family Lodge

by Sam Messer - Sales and Marketing

When was the last time you had a ski lesson? Did it happen to be when you were just under 3 feet tall? Or, perhaps you’ve never had a lesson at all. Whatever the case, now is a terrific time to perfect your technique, or learn something new under the tutelage of our skilled instructors.

January provides a unique opportunity for learning. In addition to being “Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month,” at this time of year, we’ve grown accustomed to the colder temperatures, and yet there is plenty of winter that remains. This means students can take what they learn and use it to their advantage in the upcoming snowy months.

Ryan Kerrigan, Ski Instructor and VTXC Ski Club Director points to recent improvements here at the Trapp Family Lodge as another high point for skiers interested in lessons. Kerrigan states, “The newly upgraded stadium with man-made snow, supplies all the terrain needed for the beginning skier to learn basic technique and hone their skills to take to the trail.”

Group lessons are offered 3 times daily at 10 and 11am as well as 1pm. We also offer private lessons and a variety of lesson packages for our guests. Click here for more information about instruction and rentals, or give the Outdoor Center a call at 802-253-5719. Just think…first stop Stowe, next stop Sochi! Okay, maybe a bit ambitious, but dream big!
