Periodically we are looking for Maintenance Technicians; Dining Room Servers; Line Cooks, Dishwashers; Front Desk Agents; Bellmen; Housekeepers. Please submit an application to be considered for these periodic openings.
Full Time and Part Time Year Round
Busser/ Food Runner- Full Time, year round. Clears, resets tables, assists servers and guests. A great attitude and customer service orientation is what's important! Weekends and holidays required.
DeliBakery Agent- Full Time, year round. Greets guests as they enter the Deli and assists them with their selection. Must be a team player and work well under busy conditions, while maintaining a positive attitude. Cashier experience preferred. Weekends and holidays required. Must be 18 years old.
Baker- Full Time, year round. Uses creativity and baking knowledge to prepare desserts. Produces desserts, assists customers and other bakers in the bakery. Delivers finished product to main kitchen and deli. Good safety and sanitation practices. Must be a team player and work well under busy conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Weekends and holidays required.
Deli Supervisor- Full Time, year round. Prepares food and serves restaurant patrons at counters or tables. Previous experience in a food & beverage line cook position. At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role. Weekends and holidays required.
Sous Chef- Full Time, year round. The Sous Chef is responsible for the planning, organization, control and direction of the employees in the kitchen. Responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency; maintaining food and labor costs in line with proposed budget. Ability to work in a fast paced operation is a must; Three to five years previous experience in a culinary/food & beverage line position, or one to two years in a supervisory or assistant manager position or equivalent combination of education and experience. Weekends and holidays required.
Line Cook- Full Time, year round, PM shifts. Experience must include working in an a la carte line with grill, and sauté stations. Culinary education preferred. Good safety and sanitation practices. Weekends and holidays required.
Dishwasher- Full Time, year round. Responsible for washing dishes and side duties; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekends and holidays required.
Computer Networking Coordinator- Part Time, year round. The computer networking coordinator is responsible for handling IT and telephone issues that may occur throughout the campus. Applicants should have at least 2-3 years experience in networking with the knowledge to handle computer hardware and software upgrades and emergency network issues that may result from computers, internet and phone systems. Scheduling can be flexible.
Night Auditor- Full Time or Part Time. Schedule is 11pm-7am, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. The Night Auditor serves as the overnight reception agent while completing end of day tasks. Applicant should be able to work independently and have a good knowledge of computers. Experience with Springer-Miller HOST property management system is preferred. We are seeking a hardworking, detail orientated applicant who can assist guests with professionalism. Holidays required.
Reservations Agent- Part Time, year round. Answers all incoming reservation inquiries through phone, fax and mail. Guides perspective guests through rates and property amenities. Maintains sales of rooms and subsequent follow up of correspondence and rooming. Springer-Miller HOST property management system experience preferred. Schedule includes 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday.
Housekeeping Attendant- Full Time and Part Time, year round. Attendant and crew leader positions available. The housekeeping attendant is responsible for cleaning and stocking guest rooms and public areas to ensure Trapp Family Lodge's high standards of cleanliness and service. The applicant should have a customer focused mindset and positive attitude. The ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekends and holidays required.
Houseperson- Full Time, year round. The houseman maintains cleanliness of public space including the lobby, public restrooms, offices, elevators and stairways; ensures Trapp Family Lodge’s high standards of cleanliness throughout public and guest spaces; assists housekeeping staff in response to guest requests; completes special assignments such as cleaning carpets, assembling furniture, assisting with Guest House cleaning. Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs. We are looking for a self motivated person who is able to remain focused during busy and stressful conditions. The ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. This position requires the use of company vehicle, and applicant must prove to have a clean driving record. Weekends and holidays required.
Retail Sales Agent- Seasonal. The retail sales agent assists guests with purchases and answers questions about Trapp Family Lodge recreational offerings. The applicant should have a customer focused mindset and positive attitude. Retail and register experience is preferred. Weekends and holidays required.
Groundskeeper/ Gardener- Seasonal. General garden maintenance of the grounds and gardens. Shall perform a variety of tasks, which may include any of the following: sod laying, trimming, planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
