Current Opportunities
Wedding Coordinator – Full Time, year round. Responsible for a myriad of tasks including interviewing and hiring vendors, selecting and ordering materials, negotiating rates, coordinating the sequence of events, following up with guests and vendors and producing full-scale events. Helping guide clients through the planning process, lending experience and knowledge and work tirelessly on behalf of their customers. Day-of-event coordination and the handling of logistics of the actual wedding day and rehearsal dinner are also required. Should expect a heavy work schedule that routinely involves long hours, late nights, weekends and holidays, especially during the summer months of wedding season. Sales experience required. Must be able to multi-task, handle difficult and stressful situations professionally and calmly. Weekend and holidays required.
Bellmen – Full Time or Part Time, year round. Greets guest, parks cars, takes guest luggage to rooms and familiarizes the guest with our amenities and services. Assists the guests upon check out. Delivers items to guest rooms, guest houses and villas. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Weekends and holidays required
Busser- Full Time or Part Time, year round. AM & PM shifts available. Clears, resets tables, assists servers and guests. A great attitude and customer service orientation is what's important! Weekends and holidays required.
AM Server- Full Time or Part Time, seasonal. Experience in fine dining preferred. Weekends and holidays required
PM Server- Full Time or Part Time, seasonal. Experience in fine dining preferred. Weekends and holidays required
Guest House and Villa Cleaner- Full Time and Part Time openings, year round. Fridays, Saturdays and weekday shifts are available. Clean and stock Villas and Guest Houses to the Trapp Family Lodge's high standards of cleanliness and service. Must have valid, clean driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience preferred, but not necessary.
Housemen – Full Time, year round. Cleans public areas such as Dining Room and lounge, hallways, living rooms, patios, balconies, etc. in the Main Lodge. Ensures clean linen is delivered to the linen closets on each floor. Completes special assignments such as cleaning carpets, assembling furniture, assisting with Guest House cleaning. Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs. Must be able to be extremely accurate in work. Ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. Weekends and holidays required.
AM Line Cook- Full Time, year round,AM shifts. Experience must include working in an a la carte line with grill, and sauté stations. Culinary education preferred. Good safety and sanitation practices. Weekends and holidays required.
PM Line Cook- Full Time, year round, PM shifts. Experience must include working in an a la carte line with grill, and sauté stations. Culinary education preferred. Good safety and sanitation practices. Weekends and holidays required.
Lounge Server – Full Time. Sets up lounge and serves light fare, afternoon tea, beverages for Lounge and dining room. Shifts include afternoon/evenings. Prior bartending and serving experience desired. Must be at least 18 years of age and pass the state test for liquor service. Weekends and holidays required.
Retail Sales Associate- Part Time, Fridays & Saturdays. Must have strong customer service background. Retail and register experience, and knowledge of cross-country skiing preferred.
Dishwasher – Full Time and Part Time, year round, morning & night shifts. Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Weekends and holidays required.
Deli Bakery Agent – Part Time or Full Time, year round. Greets guests as they enter the Deli and assists them with their selection. Must be a team player and work well under busy conditions, while maintaining a positive attitude. Cashier experience preferred. Weekends and holidays required.
