Current Opportunities 

 

Periodically we are looking for Maintenance Technicians; Dining Room Servers; Line Cooks, Dishwashers; Front Desk Agents; Bellpersons; Housekeepers. Please submit an application to be considered for these periodic openings.

Fitness Center Attendant Supervisor- Full Time, year round. Greets and assists guest using the fitness center; Maintains the facility by picking up/replacing towels, testing water, assists guests waiting for massages, and handles retail sales and light housekeeping . In summer handles food/beverage sales at the outdoor pool; serves as lead fitness center attendant. Pool operation experience preferred. Weekends and holidays required.

Bakery Supervisor- Full Time, year round. Supervises and coordinates activities of Bakery staff engaged in preparation of desserts, pastries, confections. Responsible for managing department inventory, ordering supplies and produce. Planning and preparation of future banquet and event orders. Supervises activities of workers engaged in mixing, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, and wrapping of breads and pastries. Examines dough batter for specified consistency. Oversees operation of automatic machinery. Weekends and holidays required.

Server- Full Time, year round, and seasonal. Serve guests meals and drinks in a polite and time efficient manner. Work as a team to ensure guest satisfaction with overall dining experience. Experience in fine dining preferred. Bartending experience preferred. Schedules vary. Weekends and holidays required.

Bellperson- Seasonal. The bellperson provides our guests with their first impression of Trapp Family Lodge. The bellperson greets guest, parks cars, takes guest luggage to rooms and familiarizes the guest with our amenities and services. Assists the guests upon check out. Delivers items to guest rooms, guest houses and villas. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. This position requires the use of company vehicle, and applicant must prove to have a clean driving record. Weekends and holidays required.

Turndown Attendant- Full Time, year round. Coordinates and performs turndown services for guests. Ensures the public areas of the Lodge are clean and orderly. Provides timely and accurate completion of guest requests for additional amenities and cleaning services. Weekends and holidays required.

Housekeeping- Full Time and Part Time, year round. Crew leader positions available. The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and stocking guest rooms and public areas to ensure Trapp Family Lodge's high standards of cleanliness and service. The applicant should have a customer focused mindset and positive attitude. The ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekends and holidays required.

Housekeeping Dispatch- Part Time, year round. The dispatcher coordinates communication with housekeeping attendants and supervisors on turnover days. Must be able to multitask, work with little supervision, and stay calm in stressful situation. Saturday shifts only.

Retail Sales Agent- Part Time, year round, and seasonal. The retail sales agent assists guests with purchases and answers questions about Trapp Family Lodge. The applicant should have a customer focused mindset and positive attitude. Retail and register experience preferred. Schedules vary. Weekends and holidays required.

Sports Lifestyle Specialist- Seasonal. The Sports Lifestyle Specialist assists both the Outdoor Center and Fitness Center management team with delivering superior product knowledge, outstanding customer service and the development and implementation of new and relevant programing. Understands the significance of product relevance and sell through. Is forward thinking with a vision to identify and create programing, that contributes to the overall profitability the Fitness Center and Outdoor Center. Weekends and holidays required.

Cross Country Ski Instructor- Seasonal. Ensures that guests receive outstanding service in a guest friendly environment. Conducts lessons and clinics. Sizes equipment for customers. Previous teaching or racing experience required. PSIA certification preferred. Must be fluent in classic, skate, back country, and snow shoe. Weekends and holidays required.

Outdoor Maintenance Worker- Full Time, year round. Cuts, collects and maintains firewood supply, assists in cattle feeding, performs general outdoor grounds maintenance. Experience operating tractor and plow truck preferred. Chainsaw safety certification preferred. The applicant should be a self-starter. Standard hours are Mon-Fri; however, flexible hours and some weekends are required.
