Wow! What an incredible winter we've had. The Valentine's Day blizzard blanketed the
Lodge with over three feet of snow and some of the best ski conditions ever. It was the
largest snowfall in 38 years. Now, with the arrival of spring, the promise of the best yet to
come lingers in the air and we are excited to share our fabulous selection of packages and
programs for the summer and fall season.
Nature enthusiasts will love our new birding and trekking adventures. Horticulturalists
will delight in the Edelweiss Garden Package while the Mind, Body & Soul Wellness
Package beckons those looking for a peaceful, meditative retreat. Gourmets and wine
lovers will savor in our weekly wine tastings, as well as look forward to the 9th Annual
Stowe Wine & Food Classic in June. Culture aficionados will appreciate various theatre
outings, while everyone eagerly anticipates our ever-popular Music in the Meadow
concert series. The Mountain Kids Club has many exciting, new activities on the drawing
board and back by popular demand is our wonderful Peaks & Volleys tennis package.
Much of the Lodge's success, we are told, is due in part to being a family owned and
operated resort with loyal employees. Two employees recently retired after a combined
51 years of service and many have been here for decades. These steadfast and loyal
employees deliver the "gemütlichkeit" (warm, friendly hospitality) that we hope you will
find sets us apart from other resorts.
As always, we invite you to join us at the Lodge and enjoy the view from high on the hill.
