Elisa Maya Sepúlveda, the daughter of Mary J. Seppi of Jackson, Calif., and Jorge R. Sepúlveda of Linares, Chile, was married Saturday to Sam Edward von Trapp, the son of Lynne A. von Trapp and Johannes G. von Trapp of Stowe, Vt. The Rev. Bruce S. Comiskey, a Presbyterian minister, officiated at Our Lady of Peace, a chapel on the von Trapp estate in Stowe.

Mrs. von Trapp, 29, owns a landscape architecture business in Davis, Calif. She graduated from the University of California, Davis.

Her father owns Las Mulas Adventures, a company in Linares that provides guides for tours of the Andes. The bride is the stepdaughter of Henry Purcell, the owner of Portillo, a ski resort in Portillo, Chile, where the bride and bridegroom met.

Mr. von Trapp, 36, is the vice president of special projects at the Trapp Family Lodge, in Stowe. His father is the president and general manager of the lodge, which was founded by the bridegroom’s grandmother Maria von Trapp. The bridegroom graduated from Dartmouth.

The bridegroom is also a grandson of Baron Georg von Trapp, who brought the family from Austria in 1938. The family’s story was the basis of “The Sound of Music.”
