The largest and longest-running gay and lesbian ski event on the east coast, attracting hundreds of LGBTQ skiers and riders to Stowe each year, offers a diverse lineup of activities, parties and entertainment. Five days of skiing and snowboarding take place on Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak. Enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the world class trails of the Trapp Family Lodge, the official Nordic Center of Winter Rendezvous 2014. Other outdoor activities include horse drawn sleigh rides, dog sledding and bonfires. Ski all day, party all night with entertainment that includes: kick-off party, après-ski, wine tastings, bloody mary bar, giant indoor pool party, Sound of Music sing-a-long at the Von Trapp Family Lodge, on mountain pizza party, and much more. Live performance by Kinsey Sicks, America’s favorite, Dragapella Beauty Shop Quartet, Well Stung, the singing string quartet as well as a special appearance from Vermont’s own House of Lemay. Dance to the music of DJ Harrison from Boston, with Back2basic disco dance party and the final blowout party with the sounds of DJ Steve Marsden, direct from the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown, MA. There is something for everyone, skiers and non-skiers alike, at Winter Rendezvous 2014.
