Families visiting Stowe can enjoy an easy 20-minute drive from Trapp Family Lodge to the Ben & Jerry’s Waterbury Factory. A tour of this ice cream factory includes a “moo-vie” telling history of the company—how two childhood friends turned a $5.00 correspondence course on ice cream making into an internationally successful business. The tour also includes a view of the manufacturing floor where the creamy goodness is made, and a visit to the FlavoRoom to sample the flavor of the day.
