Stowe Winter Carnival January


The Stowe Winter Carnival features sporting events, ice-carving competitions, Kids’ Carnival Kaos, and Snowgolf and Snowvolleyball tournaments. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this event full of wintery fun.

Winter Rendezvous January

Stowe Derby February


The Stowe Derby is a fun and unique cross-country ski race that takes place along the famous Toll Road on Mount Mansfield. The race is 20km long and is one of the oldest cross-country ski races in New England, celebrating it's 75th anniversary this year.

Traditional Christmas In Stowe December


Enjoy the first weekend of December with a local community Christmas celebration. Experience the Stowe tree lighting, children's lantern parade, an art show at the local gallery "The Current". There will also be hay rides through Stowe village, a holiday bazaar, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music, ornament and cookie decorating, holiday skating at the Stowe Ice Arena and more.
