The yoga program at Trapp Family Lodge aims to provide you with custom, quality yoga instruction. Through careful attention to your body, we teach principles and techniques that cultivate body awareness, demonstrate proper alignment, promote muscular strength and flexibility, use breath for concentration and relaxation, and improve the quality of your energy. Good Morning Yoga
Wake up to yoga! In this class, we explore the fundamentals of yoga and can accommodate practitioners of all levels. The class is tailored to individual student needs, while also keeping the flow for the group as a whole.
Please let the instructor know if you have had a recent injury or if your body is particularly sore. If you are unable to sit on the ground or stand up from the ground comfortably, please come to our slow and gentle class.
Single Private Yoga Session
Our Private yoga lessons aim to answer any questions you may have about yoga, and give you deeper understanding of the fundamentals of yoga asana (movement synchronized with breath). In this one-hour session, we create a sequence that suits your body, schedule, and lifestyle.
Double Private Yoga Session
We highly recommend booking two consecutive yoga sessions during your stay with us, as the additional class allows for documentation and practice of the routine that was tailored for you. If you have a digital camera, we will take pictures of each pose and write down the breath count and description of each pose.
Triple Private Yoga Session
Adding a third private session allows you to practice your routine and clarify any lingering questions. By the third session, you should be ready to take your customized sequence home with you.
Massage is another great way to relax after a tiring workout or trek through the mountains, though we understand if you want to treat yourself to a quiet, revitalizing experience “just because”. Our Fitness Center has two dedicated massage rooms, both of which offer a tranquil oasis where you can unwind in peaceful serenity. Contact the Fitness Center to arrange a massage treatment.
Indoor & Outdoor Pools
There’s plenty of room for floating and swimming in our large indoor pool, which is unquestionably the center of the Fitness Center. The pool measures 60’ x 25’ and features a connected wading area.
During the spring and summer months, you can also enjoy our outdoor pool, which is heated for your comfort.

Our outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to soothe your aches from working out or hiking. The hot tub has room for 20 people and is surrounded by heated slate, so your feet are never cold, even in the winter!

*An adult is considered anyone 16 years of age and above.
Our Fitness Center is home to one of the few indoor climbing walls in New England. The 35’ high wall is challenging to kids and adults alike. It’s not only fun, but it also offers a confidence-building, full-body workout. All climbs are supervised by our dedicated staff.

The Fitness Center is open daily from 7:00AM-9:00PM. The wing of the building that houses the hot tub, sauna, and exercise room is only open to adults and children that are 16 and older from 6:00PM-9:00PM.
