There are also 18 mountain biking clubs and a statewide network of trails, many of which you’ll find right here at Trapp Family Lodge.

The state offers more than 50 state parks, which are home to a number of wildlife species, including moose, black bears, and turkeys. Lake Champlain, one of the largest lakes in the state, is even said to be home to a fabled lake monster named “Champ.” See if you can spot it during your next visit!

Our Lodge in Stowe offers a number of cross-country and snowshoeing trails while downhill skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed at the nearby Stowe Mountain Resort.
