Yoga Daily at various times

The yoga program at Trapp Family Lodge aims to provide you with custom, quality yoga instruction. Through careful attention to your body, we teach principles and techniques that cultivate body awareness, demonstrate proper alignment, promote muscular strength and flexibility, use breath for concentration and relaxation, and improve the quality of your energy.

Yoga now occurs indoors in our Yoga Room at the Fitness Center. Call us today for more information at 802-253-5722.

Check in at the Fitness Center front desk 15 minutes before your yoga class and get a yoga mat, 2 blocks and a towel. After class, return mat, blocks and towel to the FC front desk.

We offer the following classes and ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for your class:

  • Good Morning Yoga
    Daily - 9am - 10am (moves to a start time of 8:30am, outside on concert stage starting June 15th)
    Indoors at the Fitness Center Yoga Room.
  • Afternoon Gentle Yoga 
     Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 5pm - 6pm. Must sign up by 4pm for Afternoon Yoga

Afternoon Gentle Yoga Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 5pm—6pm

Afternoon classes are designed to support all levels of students from total beginner to advanced. We begin with slow movement through a sequence of postures to warm the body. We transition to restorative postures, using bolsters, blankets and blocks to allow for full relaxation. Its a nice way to unwind after a full day!

Water Strengthening Tuesday & Thursday, 9am—10am

Take advantage of this non-weight bearing class to help strengthen your muscles and joints. While in the pool you will be able to work on cardiovascular and muscular health along with your balance.

Designed for all levels of fitness, this class aims to increase strength and mobility in your core muscles. You will discover any imbalances in your strength and will learn exercises that you can do at home.

Stretch & Strengthen Tuesday, Friday 10:30am—11:45am

This yoga class is designed to maximize your total body health and function by targeting strength in smaller muscle groups that help balance and optimize your biomechanics while further improving mobility through gentle stretching. The class utilizes balance training, breathing techniques, resistance bands and light weights as well as traditional yoga props to achieve the desired goals.

Fitness Center

Trapp Family Lodge’s Fitness Center, just steps from the Main Lodge, lets you be as active as you want to be. Work up a sweat in an exercise or yoga class and then relax with a soak in our outdoor hot tub or with a soothing massage. 

Our Fitness Center features updated equipment, an indoor pool, pickle ball court, tennis courts, outdoor pool, a sauna, rock-climbing wall, three spacious massage rooms, separate rooms for yoga and other classes, and separate men’s and women’s locker rooms as well as a family changing room. The Fitness Center is also the home of our Mountain Kid’s Club.

Our state of the art gym and cardio rooms are able for your enjoyment with capacity restrictions in place.

Hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.

Outdoor Pool Summer Season Only

During the spring and summer months, you can enjoy our outdoor pool with amazing views of the Worcester Range. It is heated for your comfort.

Hot Tub

Our outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to soothe your aches from working out or hiking. The hot tub has room for 8 people and is surrounded by heated slate, so your feet are never cold, even in the winter!

  • Hot Tub Hours: 8:00AM-8:45PM
  • 16 years of age and older after 6pm

Indoor Pool

There’s plenty of room for floating and swimming in our large indoor pool, which is unquestionably the center of the Fitness Center. The pool measures 60’ x 25’ and features a connected wading area.

  • Indoor Pool Hours: 8AM - 8:45PM
  • Open Swim: 9AM - 7:45PM
  • Lap Swim: 8AM - 9AM
  • Water strengthening class 9:30am to 10:30am Wednesdays and Fridays.

*All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Rock Climbing Wall

Dare to reach the top of our professional rock-climbing wall at Trapp Family Lodge. Our Wellness Center features an exciting indoor all for climbing during any weather.

Our 30-foot climbing wall is located in the fitness center. We provide climbing shoes and harnesses, and staff will help you belay on the wall. We charge $10 for children under 16 and $15 for guests over the age of 16. Make an appointment to climb in person at the Fitness Center or call us at 802-253-5722.
